The nightly Penguin Parade is a must for first time visitors to Phillip Island. Located at Summerland Beach on the southern reaches of the island, the Penguin Parade operates at sunset and gives visitors the chance to experience the magic of fairy penguins returning to shore after a day at sea. Elevated boardwalks, grandstand seating and ranger talks add much to the experience and allow visitors to fully appreciate the spectacle.

Another popular Phillip Island attraction is the Grand Prix Circuit. Located next to Smiths Beach, the motor racing track can be experienced in a number of ways. International motorsport events such as the MotoGP draw large crowds and are a great spectacle to experience in person. When events are not scheduled, activities such as a guided circuit tours and go kart rides are great ways to enjoy a visit to the track. A few laps around the circuit are also possible, with a Hot Lap the perfect present for any thrill-seeker.

Phillip Island Wildlife Park is located in the centre of the island and offers the chance to get close to an array of native animals. Popular with families, the park houses over 100 species of animals and is known for its friendly kangaroos and wallabies which roam free over the 60 acres of grounds.

Phillip Island's Koala Conservation Centre is another popular attraction. Featuring elevated boardwalks, viewing areas and ranger guided walks, the centre offers visitors the best chance to get up close to these amazing Australian animals.

Phillip Island offers a great selection of holiday accommodation options which make a great base for a fun-filled holiday. Cowes is the largest town on the island, and houses holiday apartments and spacious holiday homes. Ventnor and Silverleaves are close by and offer great value holiday accommodation close to the water. Rhyll, Newhaven and Cape Woolamai sit on the island's eastern flank, while Smiths Beach, Sunderland Bay and Surf Beach sit along the rugged coastline of Phillip Island's south.
